One of the things that really piss me off are paladins who decide to walk up and gank me.

Sure, it is a PvP server and I should just deal with it, and cut my QQ. But on the same note? How would this paladin like not being able to do his dailies. How would he like it if I decided to walk all over him because my class was much stronger than his. Yes, I hexed and earthbind-kited him. But what’s that really going to do against shockwave and the rest of the paladin’s arsenal?

I enjoy my fair share of world PvP. My Death Knight had almost two thousand honor after leveling just from world PvP. However, I do not camp people and wait until they ressurect for me to take advantage of them. In addition, on my death knight, the people I PvP’d against in world PvP were usually at or above my own level, and the majority of them happened to be other death knights – and I did not camp them.

Frankly, I’m just not a big fan of assholes, and I’d define campers as just that: assholes who like to take advantage of people, and waste their time to /flex their own epeen. So, next time you decide to go camp that dwarf priest or that troll shaman? Why not take a look at yourself.

My two’s partner and I did not even participate in Season 5 because of how horrible its terribleness was. Of course, neither of us are necessarily hard core arena players, so watching our rating dwindle down to 1300 in the first ten games was disheartening, to say the least – considering that I was only in 4/5 Hateful from doing raiding and heroics and my partner was in mostly craftable gear, there was good reason as to why we lost. The problem is – we were roughly 5-5, and even lost points for winning. That’s no way to keep people happy and arena’ing.

So Ninja Panda was put on the back burner for a while. Until, of course, last night.

For those who don’t know, in Season 6 arena teams start out with 0 points total. However, until you get to a certain bracket, you don’t lose points for losing, and gain quite a few points for winning. In about an hour or two of arenas, my scrubby little team was at an 800 rating (which is where we called it for the night – at least until tonight). We were having such a good time – through wins and losses – that we didn’t even notice when we had played 50 games.

And so, thank you, Blizzard, for making PvP fun again. I wish I had a frost wyrm mount from Season 5, but hopefully I’ll be on the road to Gladiator this time around.

Ninja Panda

Well, the site has actually been live for a few days, I just haven’t been able to blog.  Between being the GM of a guild of a guild started by some friends and I, in addition to the release of Ulduar, it’s definitely been….  Interesting?

So here’s my introduction post!

My main is a shaman, as I hope you guessed!  I originally rolled her the week before World of Warcraft’s Burning Crusade was released, and leveled her up as Delerium on the quiet realm of Anub’arak.  I raided her all the way through Sunwell!  Of course, I’ve had some bumps along the way.  I unfortunately had to do T4, T5, and T6 all with different guilds for different reasons.  I’m now playing on Mal’Ganis as the shaman Delecious.  Why don’t I introduce you to my cast!

Main!:

Delecious

This, of course, is my shaman – and a troll.  I played her as Restoration for a while – in fact, I even leveled 36 total levels as restoration!  (1-30, 67-70, and then 71-73 as resto).  I’ve piddled around as Enhancement a little bit, but now I’m raiding with her as Elemental.  The release of Dual Specialization was a HUGE boost to me as a person – not only can I quickly switch from Restoration into Elemental or the other way around, it doesn’t cost me a fortune!  Definitely a huge welcome from me.

Delecious is definitely my most geared toon, and my most played.  I’m standing at 93 days of played time on her – that’s a lot!  And I look forward to having many, many more played days on her.

Tastysnack

I made my warlock, Tastysnack (originally Delerias) when Delecious was around level 50.  She very nearly became my main, namely because of how easy leveling her was.  She hit 70 kind of late in the game when I had to take a break from her, so I never really geared her past Karazhan and one run of Tempest Keep.  She’s a blood elf – in the spirit of Burning Crusade – and basically just makes enchanting mats for me.

She’s currently the GM of Repercussion as well, the guild I’m starting with some friends.  I’m also thinking of taking her to Arthas in order to play with some other friends of mine.  We’ll see what happens!

Rinir

Wow, breaking the mold with a random name!  Rinir is my Death Knight.  I always did enjoy tanking, so I went ahead and made a Death Knight.  I tried leveling several paladins, but things always got in the way, so I ended up not getting any of them past level thirty or so.  Rinir’s now able to tank a few simple 10mans, and while I’m not a big fan of how powerful the Death Knight class is, I really do enjoy the ease of tanking with them.

And a bit about me:  I’ve piddled around in Warcraft for a long time now, but never seriously played until I began my shaman with a friend of mine from high school.  Yes, I’ll admit I’m a bit addicted, but I believe that keeping a healthy balance is important.  I still do quite a bit in my life – I recently published a novel, I have a freelance business, and a thriving social life.  Yes, I do play on Mal’ganis with one of the more “serious” guilds, but my goal is to simply have fun with my friends and enjoy myself in the down time I get between heavy projects.

Oh, and I’m also a grrrl gamer.  I’m sure you’ll hear plenty about that!
